this, and i doubt someone 'just passing' by leaves multiple trespassing scents at both ends of my pclaim. It may be a false lead, but any lead is better than acting like that trespasser is not the guy who did it.

If I was going to dick someone's clay node I would make specific steps NOT to leave any scents. The tresspasser is just some guy who was walking by and didn't bother to go around.
