How can you sell your brain power?

Gambling for LP? Don't like it. There shouldn't be a way to transfer LP from one active character to another.
Summonable cheating scents? wtf? How is that a criminal act?

Based on what we've got in the game now, we can already play checkers:
1. Dig out a cellar or two to get 24 Huge Boulders and turn half into Runestones (any other two sets of 12 liftable 1x1 objects would work too)
2. Decorate an 8x8 area with a checkerboard using Lay Stone and/or Lay Brick
3. Use the "Lift" command to move pieces

To play chess we just need 1x1 white and black chess pieces carvable from huge boulders.
But I guess technically we can just use different liftable objects... it would be annoying to remember, though.

This version (what the above poster poted) is better for a couple reasons.

It keeps H&H open-ended completely choice system open. In a real life checkers game, you can cheat invent your own rules, not pay up on bets and more. Or play the right way, and pay you debts. Just like how the trade system works, and how the lending system works. There is no "system". You don't make good, you get smitten. Simple.

Playing checkers that way is the same, play how you want, pay if you want, and if you don't; People won't play with you/you'll get killed.

That's really a matter of opinion. What matters most is how much the dev's like the idea. Obviously there would be a lot of kinks to work out but I had wrote this message at like. 4AM so I am not expecting it to be a flawless post.

dude the devs don't even have time to implement legitimate fixes to gameplay that everyone loves, let alone this garbage

I've actually just never posted, started playing a few weeks ago. Trolling is boring and even more of a waste of time. I just felt my opinion on your game design ideas should be here.

This is a smart idea. personally, im not a big fan of board games or card games in really life of in a video game, but this idea is pretty smart for when you have nothing to do. Good thinking!

It would enable selling and buying of LP. The seller could lose on purpose to give the buyer LP and if HnH gets more popular people might even use real money to buy LP this way, get your stats to 100+ in a second...lazy people would use it, I dunno but I don't think the devs want that.


And I'd like dices, you can do a lot with dice.

That's why you limit it to a certain degree. So hey.. if someone wants to make 50+ alts to trade LP so be it? They can get their 500 LP added to their main or make 10,000 LP on their main in the time it takes to make all those alts and get all that LP to LOSE it on purpose. As long as it is limited properly this kind of abuse could easily be avoided.
