I'm tired of starting over - exit

Ya so I died again tonight.
That is 4 deaths by animals in world 4 - 2 while taming.
Apparently I'm just not hardcore enough for this game cause frankly I'm sick of starting over.
I don't mind a grindy game in some ways but I mind that penalty of death coupled with it and this world is much different than world 3 was but I'm just not getting used to it.
Now, I know the general public doesn't give a crap (there are other threads evidencing) that but I was going into IRC regularly so it makes sense to say later when you vanish.
Of course, I believe that is part of the problem of the game too, that it doesn't care if ppl stay. That it's mean to ppl that ask questions and some of the posters are plain old dicks. I don't feel like I'm losing anything by leaving in that regard but a core group of asses. There are random scatterings of kindness but honestly I expect one day I'd end up banned anyway because I don't like letting ppl be mean to others - its just a personal pet peeve.
Have fun if you can handle it but it's really just too much for me.
I play games that are fun and watching my stats go down so low isn't fun repetitively so I give up because I'm not freaking grinding them all out again. I think I'm better off in a game where my progress is persistent and you can call that carebear or whatever but this restarting shit is not my style.

How can you die while taming??

I tamed cows, sheep even boars and never died. My guess is you were doing something seriously wrong there.

Hope you'll find a game more fun for you.

Most likely he tried to tame without having enough armor or skill. There's always a risk-reward measure in this game, but for some, the consequences of the risk are not adequately considered before they engage in the possibility of the reward.

I just started this game last week and I've tamed two cows without dying. I don't know how people can get hit by animals by using Call down the Thunder. Quell the beast also has a couple of square range. Just save LP for leadership and you won't even have this problem.. lol

One of the better goodbyes, as stated before. Animals really are meant to be a persistent threat in this world and are meant to kill players constantly -- the outside world is meant to be scary. I wish hermits would start moving into towards grasslands, moors, and heaths. Life would be so much easier for them there~ Abundant food, no scary animals, and virtually no raiders. Glad you had fun and glad you enjoyed the people on IRC.
