Aurochs disappearing

Aurochs disappearing

I fenced in a heard of aurochs 8). I went away for 10 maybe 15 mins to get some rope and ever single one was gone. 95% sure no one killed them all. There was no blood on the ground or item? Is this a bug or due aurochs teleport around the map after a time and don't move?

Wild animals despawn after 20 minutes of not being observed.
