Bait container - Glass Jar

I'd rather see a full tacklebox, for storing all fishing gear components.

I thought about that, but settled for the bait jar in this suggestion for two main reasons.

First, while extra fishing gear can end up being a lot of items (extra hooks, extra string, a variety of lures, couple new fishing poles), it still takes far less space than the bait required to fill a boat and the compartment containers with fish. A serparate container for non-bait (or bait in addition to other fishing gadgets, for that matter) components would be cool, but I'd still want a unique one for bait specifically, as that's the main space hog currently.

Secondly, the entire storage thing. In addition to help me dig and store worms better, it'd also let me store innards after hunting much easier, thus helping me preserve my cupboard space a little. Especially with the pathing in this game, maneuvering between 12-16 cupboads placed somewhat closely to each other is a pain - if I could reduce that some when making sausages or picking up bait for my fishing runs, that'd be god-given.

Edit: Also, when I think 'tacklebox, I'm thinking a 1x2 container made mainly from wood and metal nuggets. Goes against my desire to make glass more usuable.

I like this idea, I like it a'lot. how about this bait jar be equip able? like in the slot where the belt would normally go, or an empty hand slot? when its equipped, it automatically baits the hook when you catch a fish? whether or not you like that suggestion, your idea is pretty good.

+1. I like this idea. Also, it would be awesome if we could get a hat that stored lures and gave a bonus to fishing. Nothing like a hat adorned with solid gold lures to give you that "Classy Fisherman" look.
