Making a list here.
And Loftar, Jorb. Forgive me if these have been listed already, but at least you don't have to go forum hopping.
You cannot enter mines built in cellars. I'm not sure about Cabins though.
Resolved. Apparently in rare occasions mines break through server crashes.

Whoa.
viewtopic.php?f=4&t=1707
Is about where 2 people start building together, BOOM. Game crashes.
Baking
* Bug: Apparently, if dough sits in the oven for too long before being lit, the game assumes that one branch's worth of cooking has already been made. As a result, an ordinarily 3 branch recipe will cook with 2, and if you are not aware of this you will burn the dough by using 3 branches (which should be the correct amount).
Bug: When making tea at a cauldron, only a single tea pot will fill up. Any additional tea made will be lost instead of filling additional tea pots.
Some foxes that I fought were ridiculous. They almost aggro'd me to newbie status. Here's the issue, I could do no damage to them. Thankfully I found a house. Can you see if there are any godly glitches with enemy NPCs?
If you cannot play the game. KEEP. READING.
This can be fixed if you continue reading.
RECENTLY ADDED
Recently my village was robbed of chests, tea, cheese, and bear teeth.
I picked the scents up and no points can be found on the hearthfire, and perp.
It doesn't say he/she is online or not.
It just sends out the red circle, and nothing.
Sometimes it does, but sometimes it doesn't.
It's on and off.

Re: Trespassing no Good + Some other bugs.
Harvesting while trespassing in someone else's claim is either vandalism or theft, I'm not sure which. Looking in containers is also theft, because apparently the code doesn't do a permission check to remove things once the container is open. Picking things up only needs trespass, but taking them out of the claim needs theft. As far as I know, all of these (except perhaps container opening) are "by design", not bugs.

Is that so Kob?
I'll note that. Thank you.

While it sounds like a problem I can safely ignore -- especially seeing how you won't be able to do that anyway -- it does sound weird. What, more exactly, do you mean by "cannot enter"? Do you have a cabin that I might be able to study, perhaps?AnonWat wrote:You cannot enter mines built in cellars. I'm not sure about Cabins though.
Intended behavior, or at least halfly so. The particular problem with containers and kiln and the like will be fixed once I fix the new inventory implementation, at which point I'll actually be able to differ between looking and stealing. Harvesting others' plants requires Vandalism. What you can do with trespassing includes such things as entering people's houses, using their meatgrinders, moving their stuff around, and so on.AnonWat wrote:Trespassing allows you to interact sure, but when you try to harvest, look in a container, look inside kilns and ect, it reminds you that you are on someone's land claim.
That just sounds weird. The resource jar is signed with the exact same key as the code jar, even. Could you make them try simply clearing their Java cache or something, in case they've got some really old version of the res-jar or something?AnonWat wrote:com.sun.deploy.net.JARSigningException: Could not verify signing in resource: http://www.havenandhearth.com/java/haven-res.jar

If you find Tarn FreeBook, he'll show you my claim and be happy to show you the house I built the mine in.
I'll comment to your other replies in a bit.

I found your cellar mine, and it wasn't a problem inherent to mines in cellars, but rather the mine having been broken by a server crash. I fixed it.

My game founder, you are the most cooperative developer I have ever known.loftar wrote:I found your cellar mine, and it wasn't a problem inherent to mines in cellars, but rather the mine having been broken by a server crash. I fixed it.
Getting into the Java console and clearing it's cache in lamebrains terms right?loftar wrote: That just sounds weird. The resource jar is signed with the exact same key as the code jar, even. Aye. School laptops plus limited accounts don't help me much.
I'll find a way into the console and get it done from there.
If it doesn't work that way then I'll edit this post saying so.

Re: Trespassing no Good + Some other bugs.
What about trees? In particular, I harvested a fine crop of theft clues - and no vandalism clues - after a neighbour made free of a woodlot without permission. This seemed strange to me. Moving the logs out of the claim presumably required theft, but shouldn't there have also been vandalism clues for the tree chopping?loftar wrote: Harvesting others' plants requires Vandalism.
