Bots that has interesting and indepth AI.
I know they are out there and that certain groups are using them (more like individual running a entire group).

Dunno why people bot this game when you can't even profit out of it.
cheaters hack mmos, bots games, griefs people, yet never profit or gained much other than boosting one's E-peen.

So you can't bother playing normally, so you cheat, thinking it is fair in your own belief.
Then you can't JUST cheat, you gotta take it up another notch and let the computer do the cheating for you, to cheat on you, so you have a opponent to cheat against.

I use my incredibly powerful and intuitive botting program to put a cone cow on my study table every time one finishes.

I think this game will breed a generation of black market people who sell out cheating software to counter against other griefing software.

The only cheats I find fun are codes or secrets in the game that enables you to do extra stuff to it, not to exploit the game itself.

There is *NEVER* a legitimate place in a game for automation of tasks. EVER. PLAY the GAME.

i disagree with you a little, because at time the interface here is such an obtuse clickfest, it would be nice to have a bit of built in automation. the key difference is that it would be in the default client and server.

This is what I was about to say until I read this post.

Some automation for repetitive tasks (steel comes to mind) would be a great addition to this game. As well as a reduction in the hourglass timers. I see no harm in this (especially with the new curio system) and think that it'd make the game more enjoyable and allow people to participate in even more grandiose feats (more impressive paving designs, etc).

Isn't the statue a direct reference to the "bots" (via your clients' ease of macro production) that lead the the demise of world 4? Not entirely something to be proud of or congratulated on.

If I was a direct cause of a server wipe I would be extremely proud of myself.

Would "causing grief on a large magnitude" count as a boost to ones' pride?

I know for sure certain countries hates other countries guts so they take pride in everything against the latter country.
