Sadly not true.

And this is exactly why the TEA party is trying to Eliminate Obamacare.

I was generalizing. They have to deal with the pushy Spend-thrift Democrats in Congress too, having 2 parties means both are at fault.

Old people are going to go bat shit crazy. Private insurance companies will NOT insure them so they have to rely on the government for coverage. So what now? We cut it and then ... ? You tell me.
Indeed. That's one of the many problems of instituting it to begin with; people start to invest in it and rely on it.
Old people have to rely on it. There are no other options except pay out of the ass for it.
Medical care here is very expensive. Want to know why? Its because people exploit the system. You walk into a hospital and they are required to serve you. And if you are unable to pay? Well then there comes the issue. Hospitals have had to raise the sticker price on all services because of explotation.

These are some of the reasons why our country needs universal health care. "Obamacare" (coined by idiots) will do good for our country. Although it does not fully gives us "universal" health care, we are still required to have something. But people here are so brainwashed anti-government and such they oppose it so much.

There is nothing wrong with everyone having health care. If they can't afford it then they get a TAX BREAK. If they don't pay for it they get a penalty (which could in some instances be less than the cost of the health care).

The real question is how such health care is actually obtained. What reasonable people realize is that it doesn't happen through any action of the government.
Is the problemwith America's healthcare system the result of too much(?) government, or is the chart just wrong? I've never been to America, but I'd much rather be here in Australia with lower costs and the state subsidizing part of the cost- if half of it runs through the usually inefficient government before getting to the provider and still comes out cheaper per capita something is wrong.

Is it the system or the people who are to be blamed for that?

Has anybody stopped to think that there are fundamental wellness problems present in the vast majority of the American society that could be remedied in ways other than by providing healthcare?

It is the people who are to blame for that, but there are also flaws in the system. We run rampant with health care fraud, exploits of the system, and people running into hospitals for ridiculous things.

Yeah sure dude, the USA don't have massive debts. And even if they had, none of it would be due to republicans. LoL.
The only thing Republicans really go over budget on is National Defense. Democrats and their Social Programs are what's bankrupting the country.

Also, I said "/More balanced/", not "completely and perfectly balanced"
Find any figure of US debt (type US debt in google). Look at Bush&Reagan&Bush years. Look at Clinton years.
Come back with said figure and explain us why US debt skyrockets when republicans are in charge.

Republican social programs ? Sure dude.

It would be cool if you didn't completely ignore the effect of this on US economy. It's not like the money is kept unused. It's directly reinjected in economy, and if you want to simply cut it you gotta find a way to make up for it.

Isn't Social Security funded by money that comes out of employee's cheques?
