OK, thanks. So to update on a mac I just download the latest haven.jar and res folder for the win32 version, and put them in the correct folders?

Ok, when I try to launch the run.bat the command prompt comes up and then quickly disappears.

This is what's in my run.bat

"C:\Program Files\Java\jre6\bin\java" -Djava.library.path="C:\hh-windows-32bit" -Xms256m -Xmx512m -jar haven.jar moltke.seatribe.se

My system is a 32-bit Windows 7

Is it just something I'm stupidly not noticing? or is there some major issue?

Where did you get your copy of the client from?

I would suggest deleting it entirely, not just the haven.jar and re-download it.

The crash to desktop is usually seen with an out of date client using an updated haven.jar

I downloaded the file from the 1st page of this thread, and updated the haven.jar

Yeah, don't do that. Ender made an official update. Use that one. I'd replace your entire installation too in case you borked it.

Official update is where? And I don't know what you mean by installation in all this.

Well, it's not really "installed" the a normal program is. But, by installation I mean the entire full download of his client. Delete your current copy of it (not just the haven.jar file). And unzip the entire thing and use it the way it is when it unzips. You don't need to update it or anything.

Well, you posted the following for your run.bat

And that's not what's in ender's run bat. So, you must have downloaded from the wrong location. Try downloading it again from here: http://odditown.taggedup.com

Ok, I downloaded the ender client from this site

Now I have this in the run.bat

start javaw -Xms256m -Xmx512m -jar haven.jar moltke.seatribe.se -r ./res

Gives me an error that says: Windows cannot find 'javaw'

......now what seeing as I'm incapable?
