There was nothing in the house. Just a claim, a cave, and a an illuminated hearthfire in front of it. After smashing the hearthfire, I came across this:
Surprised, I stepped outside so my friend could track my location. Suddenly, the little man wearing only a sprucecap and some rather dirty linen pants emerged from the cave and said, "What the..."
My animal instincts went into survival mode. Threatened by the little man's words, there was only one option. Death. He writhed, he squirmed, he begged, he got his face smashed, and made a rather mushy crunch in the end.
On the bright side, his dirty pants are the least of his worries. I'll be the one washing them and I got a sweet new backpack!
