Well since we don't get bread in the starting chest anymore, and you actually have to discover wheat and flour to make it, could we have bread back to the way it was before where it gave Con FEPs?

Chants both give Dex and are ingredients in higher Foods that give Dex, a 1 Con bread would not obsolete Bark Bread.

Can we use bread to make sandwiches?
Roast Roach Wrap doesn't really count as a real sandwich...

The only problem is the lack of tomatoes, cucumber (for pickles), and lettuce.
Onions are there and works if the sandwich contains hunks of meat. Cheese too.

it would be nice if bread had a purpose, but there's already tons of con foods out there, most of them involving flour. imo another decent agility food would be nice

I think this is suppose to energize you so...

Possible stats:
- Con
- Agi
- Str
- Dex

Agi and Dex might be a good combo since cheese takes a while to make and requires a supply of milk... But milk is known for giving you calcium so Con makes more sense than Agi.

If something interesting should be done about bread, its hunger reparation could be increased (maybe makehunger gain scale with quality - I am too lazy to check the current hunger reparation) - keep it a good nil FEP food for miners and others to eliminate hunger while not messing with their stats.

For using sliced bread to make sandwiches. you could use modified bread q as a multiplier for the FEPs of the items used in the sandwich. so if you put in cheese that gave say 25 cha FEP it would give more and the more ingredients you put on it (meats, veggies, pepper) will add either more FEPs or just a FEP/hunger bonus.

It should be possible to make toast using a bread and a frying pan. Toast gives con feps like the bread of old, and has a small chance of producing a "toast with the face of loftar" curiosity
