Re: McCannibal the Cannibal's Cave is looking for fresh meat
Yeah, I actually am a big fan of older music. So I am always happy to hear it used in video games or movies. Henry Hall is a favorite of mine, you might have heard his cover of "Whose afraid of the big bad wolf?" and his song "Here comes the boogey man". Billie Holiday is a classic, with her popular song "Gloomy Sunday".Grog wrote:you know its real music of older age? i got me a cd-copy of that band (the ink spots)

People I don't think know how twisted, spooky and sad alot of old songs are! Perfect for game music.

Re: McCannibal the Cannibal's Cave is looking for fresh meat
well the big difference (if you follow the story line) is that new california where new vegas takes place) became repopulating from all the vault dwellers roughly 200 years before the start of fallout 3, while the east coast (fallout 3) didn't really start till 50 years before the start of fallout 3, so it makes sense to have new vegas be more densely populatedDephora wrote:I know I am in the small group that liked fallout 3 better than New Vegas. But I felt the atmosphere in Fallout 3 was just better. It felt more like a wasteland would. The map was large, desolate, and you barely saw any real people not trying to murder you.homsikpanda wrote:i need to finish fallout 3 sometime =/
In New Vegas I just never had the same feeling I got from fallout 3. Walking through the ruins of DC and the radio starts singing ...I don't want to set the world on fire...
Maybe I am just a hipster.

We better start getting good apps for cooks. Cooking is such a damn chore and hard to keep food stockpiled with so many people running around working.
