You know, I thought I felt a sense of deja vu when I heard about this, and then I remember the big ruckus between Gingrich and Clinton over the federal budget in the mid 90s when the Republicans gained control of the house and senate. For further comment, I point you to Real Time with Bill Maher. http://www.hbo.com/real-time-with-bill-maher/index.html

What will come of this? Pretty simple:
The world will not end, the US will not collapse into anarchy. 800,000 federal employees will get a sudden slap with reality that they truly serve no purpose except to consume oxygen and fill out employment numbers as their "non-essential" positions are left without work or pay for however long it takes to get some kind of agreement on a new budget, then they will promptly forget about the whole thing as the new season of American Idol goes into its finals.

I pave my terrorist plots in stone on my claim in bold in haven and hearth.

You know, come to think of it, I'm not afraid of ants. I never was. It's just when they all come running out of a lady's pants like that...eeewwhh, creepy!
