I am unable to get the game to launch since like two days ago when I was last on and it was running fine. It seems to be a Java issue. I tried uninstalling all the older versions of Java that were still on my comp. thinking that was the issue but alas... I am at a loss...
According to the Java site I have the latest version of it. Here are the error logs:

This is a Java Web Start file. If you are reading this text,
it most likely means that you have not installed Java, which
you will need to play Haven and Hearth. The easiest way to get
Java is probably to go to http://www.java.com/ and download
it.
It might also mean that you are just curious, in which case I
bid you to go ahead. 'Tis a good thing.

Re: Java Launch Issues?
It seems that I was able to resolve this issue by uninstalling and re-installing Java and H&H.
The issue must have been on my end.

Re: Java Launch Issues?
Well, now I am having the issue again and after uninstalling & re-installing the latest version of Java (I only have the latest version: Version 6 Update 24, installed) & I deleted the auto haven and re-downloaded/installed it.

Re: Java Launch Issues?
Ok, I use a program called ccleaner pretty religiously and I think it might be an issue with that prog. It wasn't up to date so I updated it then deleted H&H again & used ccleaner to uninstall Java and clean the uninstall trails in the registry after running ccleaner's cleaner app itself. After all that I rebooted re-installed Java & then re-booted again before re-downloading H&H. After all that I'm up and running again.

If you'll look down a few threads, you'll see I'm having the same problem. To clarify, will or will not reinstalling Java fix it?

Re: Java Launch Issues?
This 2nd time that I had the issue (check my post dates) It did not fix it the way it did the 1st time...MetalusVerne wrote:If you'll look down a few threads, you'll see I'm having the same problem. To clarify, will or will not reinstalling Java fix it?
This second time I had to go thru the hassle of doing a much cleaner uninstall of Java for some reason... only after that, It Did Work.
Edit: However, I am also having this new and separate java issue.

I'm having the same problem. I uninstalled Java and re-installed it, and I haven't been able to even download the game client yet.

Re: Java Launch Issues?
Yep me2...again. I'm about to try a complete clean uninstall and re-install of Java and the game, again
This is the 1st time I'm trying to get back on the game since the server crashed from that male kaka bug <---lol @
Edit: Ok, it worked again. Same procedure as my 4th post in this thread except I eliminated the step of re-booting after uninstalling and cleaning the trails. I only re-booted after re-installing Java, before re-downloading autohaven and it still worked fine.
One other thing I had done this time and the last time, that I forgot to mention the last time, was to just chuck my old java install package in the trash bin instead of overwriting it with the new download of Java. It was one thing I had not done the one time when it didn't work for me.
