Ooookay... I`ll try to get rid of a mental picture of someone invisible sneaking leaving LARGE SMOKING TRACKS in his wake..theTrav wrote:Because the ability for victims to track down their loss and seek revenge is an important mechanic that. Re: Stealth without stats
My first week or so of playing H&H, I thought the stealth skill was for just this sort of mechanic. I was extra paranoid expecting someone to sneak up and attack at any moment. It would add an extra bit of flavour.
At night it should be easier to sneak under a new moon than a full moon. Making torches more useful is definitely a plus. Scents should stay as they are, though. Hiding one's tracks is more difficult than just avoiding being seen.

leaving no scents while sneaking is a terrible idea.
I thought you were joking when you first brought it up.

I dunno, I always found that a fairly annoying/forced mechanic, there's no rotation, and many players ended up deliberately building a lot of space wasters behind their buildings that was really annoying.Jackard wrote:game should just hide players behind objects. return to how it was before hack robbed us of true stealth
