Open a second client, create a second account, spawn an alt, and both you main and alt begin to bash the wall. For best results have 3 alts and your main for maximum damage. It's cheap, easy, and completely fair to do.MagicManICT wrote:This implies you'll have the str to use it after you die. If you're a hermit in a palisade or brickwall, you (probably) might not.bitza wrote:it's best to have the supplies ready for a battering ram BEFORE you need it - cannot stress this enough!
This also brings me to another point: Never, ever, EVER! deforest inside your wall completely just for this reason. Also: use Ender's so you can avoid these mistakes better.

Re: Jailed in my palisade
not really, a new char only adds 3 damage.

Are you saying you need neither ram nor 400~str to break a pali ?

Re: Jailed in my palisade
Not at all. Palisades have 25 damage reduction. A newbie with a battering ram is only adding 3 damage to the ram's 20, falling just short of breaking a palisade. With an alt working beside you, they add another 3 damage, breaking the palisades damage reduction by 1 point.pyrale wrote:Are you saying you need neither ram nor 400~str to break a pali ?

I cannot provide an exact number unfortunately but it would take a god awful amount of time since you're dealing 1 damage per tick and palisades have 2500 health.Flame wrote:time needed?
