Ups and Downs - The Server Thread

Postby Gauteamus » Tue Sep 08, 2009 3:53 pm

I don't know if this is necessary (your using it or not will show), and it is certainly not meant as a nagging on J&L - server downtime is just fine.
I am just getting abit shaky everytime the server goes down - is it my connection again, or do everyone experience the same thing this time?
Here you can reassure your fellow hearthlings that they are not alone when the server goes down, and also bring the crowd happy news when it is back up.

Been down for three and a half hours now.

This has been discussed previously and IIRC the answer was "We just fix problems when we bump into them", but Devs, is it out of the question to have a regular maintenance schedule of some sort to reduce the abrupt crashes?

How on God's green earth would that prevent server crashes?
