Quick question: Is the res-file version playing any role here?

Sure. Only correct version is accepted. If version is lower, then requested - it skips file as if it was absent. If version is greater... well, then it will crash similar to 'kaka problem' recently

Got some problems with using the Client.

What I've done is zipping it up in a map, checked paths to java and it's correct, check the path to the map itself and is correct.
But when I use the bat file it just it says that it can't find the path to: -Djava.library.path=E:\spel\hnh_ender_x32

This is how my .bat is looking like, java is looking the same on my computer, same with the path to "E:\Spel\HnH_Ender_x32" it's correct.
What am I doing wrong ?

Code: Select all

.\updater\HnH_updater.exe
start "C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre6\bin\javaw.exe" -Djava.library.path="E:\Spel\HnH_Ender_x32" -Xms256m -Xmx512m -jar haven.jar moltke.seatribe.se -r ./res

I'm using Win 7 Premium 64bit.
Downloaded the 32bit version of the game, since java is 32bit I guess ?

This has been answered many-many times before. Remove start from your bat file

A little slow with the updates, so sorry if this seems old.

Love the new "dump" functionality, but your little trash icon is horrendous. I made a new one and if you'd like to use that instead that'd be cool. If not, at least let me know where it's stored so I can change it myself.

Changing the name to .res and deleting it form .haven worked, no problems there then.

Another suggestion: Hotkey to open/close Minimap please. Same with Chat.

Ability to set custom music for the following, with day/night modifiers:

village claim
your claim
default tracks:
    combat
cabin (god i want to kill the default track for this so much. DOOT DOOT DOOT)
    chair
    etc.
other terrain? grassland, swamp, forest, water, mountain

i would make an ambient sound package if this was added

I'm getting the following error message:

Windows cannot find '-Djava.library.path="C:\Games\Haven and Hearth\Enders Client". Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again.

My run file:

start "C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre6\bin\javaw.exe" -Djava.library.path="C:\Games\Haven and Hearth\Enders Client" -Xms256m -Xmx512m -jar haven.jar moltke.seatribe.se -r ./res
pause

And my haven.jar file is 810 KB.

I'm sure I'm making a simple mistake, but I've been messing with it for an hour with no luck.
