Liberty cap. Grows on grasslands, and plains.
Consuming the liberty cap will cause whatever the player says in chat, to be replaced by a random sentence generator.
Only people who have consumed Liberty cap as well, will be able to read what the player was saying for real.

It'd be a curio, I'd think, found rarely growing beside fir trees. It could possibly be turned into either a healing salve (the only justification I can come up with is that it has anticoagulant properties), or an ingredient in an "enhanced" type of gauze/wrapping.

it slows you to a crawl and spawn bears around you, then you try to run away, but they encircle you, watching you waddle away from them...helpless and in despair...
