Any worm monsters : Grenade, just don't do it when they're REALLY close.

Grenades are OP on any monster that has many sections close together (Devourers, Skeleton Worms, Eater of Worlds), like ridiculously OP cause you can stack 20 and throw them very fast and exploding on contact does nice damage )

Or use flails like Ball O' Hurt that traspasses them and keeps hitting as the ball stays "in" the body (the sprite on top of the monster's sprite). Same with bosses. I'm still trying to farm that Sunfury, it's supposed to be dropped from Bone Serpents.

I haven't played as much as I'd like to but I'd imagine that if you lost your stuff when you died (maybe not armor but like ore) instead of just coin it might become hard because you can't just suicide to get free shit. "Death Penality" my ass. I also wish there were more server options and ability to mod things.

Apparently one of the things they are planning on is a hardcore mode.

Given how quickly you can die sometimes, I hope hardcore death resets not deletes your character. Or that they add a randomizer for chargen. Otherwise chargen is going to become annoying...

I just hope they "fix" in some way the stupid "You're stuck in a 3x3 hole with water with 2/3 -anymonsters- and you cant move or do anything besides 1) Dying because you dont have good equip yet to tank them all 2) Pot and hit them 3) Start cursing to the air since you know that you're dead already.

That before you get bugged by 3 stupid monsters on hardcore mode ;(

I would really like to see them tone down the random spawns for common biomes, adjust drops and add monster generators ala Gauntlet

also they need to remove respawn on exit, so you dont have a free get out of jail card just by shutting down the game

I say keep your blocks (the simple ones like dirt and rock 'cause who the fuck cares), maybe cause armor degradation, and just drop everything else. Like stated one of the main things you can do is just tunnel to hell to get stuff and then you are un-stoppable. I'd also like to have the armor degradation be light because you die a crap ton, and maybe not effect weapons too.
