make folder in C:\Program Files named Haven and Hearth - move the downloaded zip file in there

extract (unzip/unpack) it so that you have the run.bat in the root of that folder ( there should be 3 folders and 10 files plus the zip file)

then you open the run.bat with Notepad Editor (!not Wordpad) and edit the way you need it (see above)

Make sure you have the latest Jave Runtime Environment installed: XP 32 http://javadl.sun.com/webapps/download/AutoDL?BundleId=48343

check Java Installation: http://www.java.com/de/download/installed.jsp

okay so i got to the run file thing and i double-clicked and it brought a black box up and disappeared, then haven and hearth opened up with the client like... 20secs later... so im on the client now aparently. no need to use notepad? why?

the default run.bat is as you need it - so Ender clients works for you now? good - now download the updater file: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/18779594/HnH/HnH_Updater.7z if you want it auto updates

it's packed with 7zip which you get here http://sourceforge.net/settings/mirror_choices?projectname=sevenzip&filename=7-Zip/9.20/7z920.exe (choose a download location) to unpack - it's free - then copy the unpacked Folder "updater" and the file "updater.cfg" into your Heaven and Hearth Folder

then edit run.bat to enclude

I also ran by some deer and isnt it sopposed to show animals on minimap if you activate it? it isnt doing that for me... =[

only boar and bear are marked with a red circle ingame in visible range (not on minimap!) - deer, fox, rabbit aren't as they aren't attacking if not aggroed

don't worry about - you can just make a desktop shortcut to run.bat
