No, see your assumption about MS13 is flawed. We outnumber them greatly in power and playercounts. The siege mechanics are just so flawed that a single man can easily hold a little brickvault forever against a big army.

Re: The justice system
The main reason it is hard to do anything about such established raiders (Several vaults, good equipment, decent stats) is more to do with the siege system than anything.
The larger villages who can do something about them do easily outnumber them and a good amount of those players outmatch them in stats as well, it is just catching them online or getting a lucky break with an unsealed wall or having a ram go unnoticed that is really the only way to take care of them. (Or a wall jumping bug)
Even then by the time you manage to break in, they have noticed the ram because of the shitty 24 hour period and moved their hearthfires somewhere else.

Re: The justice system
I still say Ram's damage potential needs to be seriously beefed up, it should take a decently established character to break it speedily, alts should take much much longer. (40 minutes!)

Re: The justice system
How can one man hold off say 15-20 people while building/using a ram? I only ask because I have never had the chance to take part in a siege. Do range weapons do that little vs armor if you have about 10 people shooting at a single target?burgingham wrote:No, see your assumption about MS13 is flawed. Re: The justice system
I think if 6 reasonably strong people banded together they could kill everyone in MS13. The problem is no one wants to camp a ram.warpigs wrote:One example that comes to mind is MS13. They seem to raid and kill at will and most just except that mostly because they cannot do anything about it. I am sure if the larger villages banded together they would have enough to put them down. I could be wrong but having larger factions (kingdoms) make for more interesting politics and larger wars.
I am not interested in become a King/lord. However, I would love the idea of working with in a kingdom and take up arms when called upon for tracking lawlessness or even war. Having a perma Death systems makes this very exciting.
Also, just a little background on what Dat said above. I was killed a few days ago from a sent left in my own village. I am not to hurt from it because I knew at some point some of my past deeds would come full circle. So I have started over instead of just quitting. My death however, is not the reason why I created this topic.

1)From the inside he only need worry about rangerswarpigs wrote:How can one man hold off say 15-20 people while building/using a ram? 2)No one will camp a ram (Leading to 3)
3)All that one person has to do is get to the ram before it dries, and break it.
4)Idol/Charterstone jumping is still and probably always will be possible until loftar finds that it's enough of a damn abuse and boost to defense that it needs to go
5)You can run around and such on the inside to avoid ranger's bows, few (pretty sure it's 0) rangers can shoot a Running(Speed 3) target, 100% sure 0 can shoot a Sprinting one, if you run and use 'sharp turns', no one can shoot you at Speed 3.
Therefore, raiding a brickwall is fucking annoyingly near impossible.

Re: The justice system
There is no justice in this game, such thing would require some kind of law.
All there is - is scents system. And what to do with them is entirely up person who has them.

Re: The justice system
There is justice and lots of it just that there is no absolute value system that says this is justice and this is not. Killing he who has done harm to you and yours is justice for you, his buddies killing your entire town as a result is justice for them. Russian morons knocking people down asking the target in cyrilic if they're russian then killing all (since none can respond when knocked down) is justice for the great crimes done against the russian fagtown of world 2 (that town was a fucking mess a crime against aesthetics if there ever was one and klaue brought justice to them for the affront of stealing his bandwith) as there was justice each time someone killed klaue ever since for him being a fucking douchebag backstabbing traitor scum.
Sure many of these reasons for justice may seem silly or retarded to one part or another of the populace but thats how the world works. There's no real incentive to go out and hunt all the bad people even if someone could agree who those were exactly. We don't have unmanned drones or nukes, or bomber planes, nor do ingame armies ever resemble real life ones which don't log out for dinner or homework or work or girlfriend and what is that the siege has been lifted due to lack of people?

a man need only strike another to make him evil."

Re: The justice system
"justice" in this game is not for justice, it is for more dramas.
so, its works as intended (by the sick imagination of developers).
