There is a point to run in forests from raiders, but I can see no point in swimmin across the river. Its so risky that only 1% percent is managing to survive. And if one of raiders is constantly blockin the way with boat - there is no chance. Forcing raid party to leave murder scent is way too clever in this situation. After reincarnation you'll be able to gather party, track 'em down, and start wiping those mothafukkas from the face of Earth.
