So a lot of people have been quitting, or are contemplating it. I am contemplating it cause it seems like I am building only to eventually get bug raided myself, plus my friends are quitting.
How many of you are waiting on w6?
Why did you leave?

same as it ever was

Re: Why here have all the Hearthlings goonnnneeee?
People come and go. We had over 1k online at any time at one point. This is typical of things. From what I played in w3, it went like this. W4 was starting to go down when it got reset. Now we have w5. We're getting to the slow part and people get bored with the whole 'quality grind' thing with nothing new to discover.
Opinions expressed in this statement are the authors alone and in no way reflect on the game development values of the actual developers.

Re: Why here have all the Hearthlings goonnnneeee?
My first playthrough myself. I heard the quality grind gets dull. I am enjoying it, but it seems like things are damaged and the map is a bit on tilt. Plus once my quality gets high I am likely to be facing down a reset. If I do quit I will probably be back for w6. I am prolly going to get my wall up and just slow it up a bit. Might just be burning myself out. I am not saying the game is dying by any means. New players every day, I am just saying I see veterans quitting, people who I'd ask questions and hear stories about old worlds from and was just curious what the deal was, and figured it might be nice to have a signoff thread. The game is still great, has it problems but all games do. I look forward to Salem as well.
Also am curious if the wind down tends to speed up the reset or not really have any effect.

The title question can be answered with another one - "Where are all the gods?".
Sadly neither Jorb nor Loftar have enough syllables to replace Hercules.
But still, most people are holding out for an update.
