Why not summon and kill them? I can safely say we don't have any members without hearths, that's just stupid, and stupidity is illegal in these parts. The only thing I can think of that's happened here is that we've traded for something that was taken from your other half.

I have no idea what the fuck is going on. All I know is someone cleared out EVERYTHING my wife had while we were asleep. The guy originally had a HF pointing in the direction. I was tracking his hf and suddenly he doesn't have one anymore. so I track the perp since he was online the entire time. I tracked him to the village and he was moving around inside it apparently. I circled all around 3 or 4 times to make sure he was inside. He stayed logged on the entire day except when the server crashed. I logged right when it was up and tried to force summon. Now hes dead.

It kept saying "That land is owned by someone" due to there being personal claims covering the village

You don't understand, the body is still in the village now, as if he is dead inside there now. Perhaps one of your villagers had a theft alt, stole shit, then killed it? Seems like a lot of work just to grief imo.

We have a strict policy with regards to stealing from active players, the penalty for such things is severe. Know that it was not an action sanctioned by Melsonia and if the perpetrator is a villager, he will face harsh consequences. In circumstances like this, where everything is so damn peculiar, that's not necessarily enough. For all we know it was a thief alt, which is all too common and easy to make. Sacrificing a thief alt is cheap. That the thief alt was residing in the village is pretty damn suspect.
Who OP chooses to trust on this is entirely up to them but after so much damage it's hard to call it a day without some kind of reparations in one form or another.
