Case 3: Death's Attacker
I followed my friend back to his home, and then down a ways to where Death claimed he was beaten up. I couldn't find any sign of it, but something had happened. Theft. Lots of theft. Someone had sticky fingers, covered in Chickens. Lots of chickens.
There were even more inside, but strangely, no one claimed this land. I was troubled, and so I called in a few favors. I needed the team , and they needed to bring their A game.
One promptly hid behind an urn.

We got started, and on the way, met other victims of the thief. But bothersomely, some civis wanted to tag along, get a taste of the real thing, and I had to say no. When the blades are flying, it's no place for a man who'll shit his pants at the first sign of shit. But they insisted, and I agreed. But only if they carried the heavy stuff.
We arrived too late to be part of the party, but not too late to see justice. The thief was newly dead, his body out for crows. Yamaluka has seen better days. Case closed.
