How do you store and retrieve items from the carts?

lift a tree or container and right click the cart. right click again to pull or open. Right click again to stop pulling.

Thanks, I figured the container bit out for myself, but a whole log too? thanks

As far as I know, you can put anything you can lift onto them... but not corpses, since I tried that and it didn't work.
