What would be your ideal village?

My ideal village would be a small one.

From that little what I've seen in the game (I'm playing since a week or 10 days maybe) most villages are megalomanic attempts at world domination, with the obvious result, i.e. most attempts fail.

I agree, thats why I've moved into a small settlement with a friend.

got 20 brick walls, dedicated chef, forager etc, constant supply of 80ql food which meets my need and constant stream of best curios and 100ql dhelm etc all best gear

epic feasting area and big daily feast which everyone attends

all villagers are pro fighters and the main village goal is just to kill everyone in the game

constant never ending raiding on every town we ever see just all day looting and raiding and killing

and a hot village whore who visits u irl and sux ur dick

My ideal village is one whose members...

...can be trusted
...are not easily offended
...are enthusiastic about playing the game
...have some kind of goal or mission or dream
...actively pursue their dreams (as opposed to simply talking about it or wishing it were true)
...are rational people (their actions are based upon logic/reason and they can be persuaded by logic/reason)
...are mindful of the reputation their actions give the village
...actively care about the security of the village (building walls, scouting walls,secure xr arrangements, keeping keys in a safe place)

Oh yeah and I prefer smaller villages, small enough for me to have a one-on-one relationship with each person in the village.

My ideal village would be a city. I would be a bureaucrat in some public office that makes people jump through long series of ridiculous hoops to get simple stuff like fishing permits. But I would hand out subsidies to everyone like it's nothing, just to troll Jorb.

I main a fishermen, and I've met some awesome randomers who were also fishing at the time, so I'd go for a village with a large fishing fleet, purely because it's easy to start, it's sustainable, and there's a good few fish to be eaten. So, basically, a riverside village with a decent trade :3
