I'm new and have some questions

hey,

I saw some video's on youtube about this and it seems really cool, you can build your own house and all that good stuff.
But when I started playing I tought WTF!
When I toogle full-screen my screen becomes black, and I have to close it.
Also this game bugs out alot and with that I mean, your character doesn't move or when you're walking he suddently stops.
Is that just me or is that the game?
If it's the game isn't there another game similar to this but bug free?

1. The game is GREAT!
2. It is in the alpha stage, and development is currenty slow due to the devs' main project Salem.
3. Get a hold on Ender's client as soon as possible (see Wizard's Tower subforum)
4. Be prepared to loose a character or two, in good spirits.

Thx for your answer I downloaded the client but this does not fix the freezes.

As gaut says this is an alpha that was developed by 2 guys in their free time and is currently on hold. It is free and a fun project, so please don't start to get the attitude that you have the right to demand anything here (just saying it in advance).

Fullscreen toggle for this game always has been somewhat problematic, but with Enders client you can just size the screen to basically be a fullscreen. Try updating your video and graphics drivers btw if you are getting any other graphical glitches. The lag is here to stay for now (although I hear from people actually playing that it got better with the recent movement of mini maps?), would need some major improvements to make it go away and they don't have time for those.

So in sum you either put up with being an alpha tester for a game that is currently not developed at all and will always be only developed by those 2 guys, but nevertheless you got a game here with enourmous potential, one that does't exist a second time. Or you decide this is too much of an incovenience for you right now and leave it alone.

Nah I like this game, I've always been looking for something like this, I just hoped that the lagg is fixable but, now I know it's not gonna change any time soon. thanks

As I've told about 5 people now and no one disseminates the info, for some reason, in Windows 7, if dwm.exe is running running in your process' it causes that weird stutter lag. Just type ctrl-alt-del and cancel dwm.exe, it will reassert itself then cancel it one more time. Problem solved.

I like the change in his attitude over the cause of 1.5 hours. Waiting for the raeg thread when Vig or Nao or someone else puts a sword up his ass. Should be quite delicious.

yes, but a small bugs, nothing critical, nothing what break the game play.
