We said clearly that the agency is undercover and that only its members may know how it functions. This thread explains clearly how the agency works. You still have no clue who is "behind the curtain". We can only give you a hint that it is you who we are working with. Some of you does not even know of that fact - but when you care only about wealth and when you do not ask who you are working for then... it happens. And remember - our best agents do not care about fame. They are satisfied as undercover agents doing their job in the shadows.

Since there is so much unbelieving in our capabilities we promise you that we will pick a target (someone well known and influential) and you will watch his fall. Everything will be reported and put into drama section. This is the first and last request that the agency will do for the public - remember that we have our goals that are a bit more ambitious than killing a character.

@OP - Listen to burgingham. If he's NOT 'in the know' (aka actually the one running your shit). He fucking should be if your agency is by any margin, actually what is claims to be. Also, he has actually gfiven you correct information about those players. I don't know ALWAYS but he's a pretty big dick in IRC so I imagine he's definitely right up there with NaoWhut, kLauE. The only person arguably more evil than any of that would have been Delamore but since he doesn't play anymore that's largely irrelevant ancient news to you.

Still these people are targets that would make the whole player base just fucking love you but since they're such high profile targets it would speak more of your combat capabilities and make burg eat that bronze sneer (75 melee lol) than to kill me. Killing me would however prove your current establishment of an information gathering network. It would also make you FIRST!

You point out the fundamental flaw in the direct stat comparison combat system. Progression should be a series of choices earned by development that introduce strengths and weaknesses to the charecter. The way your investment means something but there will always be the odd chance that nubs who fight back can kill you.

The old 'fix' only introduced a fuckton of buttons and bars that changed absolutely nothing about the meaningfulness of investment and actually cultivated the absolute value of direct stat comparison by slowing down combat.

i just found an agent in my village. we never did anything BAD-EVIL though, and all the agent seems to have accomplished is collecting a cupboard full of rats and bunnies, and possibly eating 20 carrot cakes or so.
