Just watched trull hunter, a 2010 movie.
And it seems there are trolls in norway.
The point is, they are not only in mines.
So would you please correct that mistake jorbtar? And make troll spawns in forest and mountains either.
Thanks.

Trolls should also randomly spawn in houses so they can steal, smash, and break sh*t. Oh yeah. We already have those.

Re: Just saw troll hunter.
Why don't we ask for a troll that spawn in uor pants.?? Oh, wait, right.
because trolls can Swim and have no Stamina. So if you see a troll he kill you, simply he kill you, also if you run, swim, sail, shoot yourself in the space and....
Any other bad idea to suggest for this game? It's already full of problems, don't put your try on make it worse.

Re: Just saw troll hunter.
What exactly is bad about the idea of making animals tougher and the world more dangerous in general? This was once supposed to be a survival game and now it is easy as fuck. Anyone who ever dies PvE is a complete noob. Sorry to say it like this (and yes I drowned this world...).Flame wrote:Why don't we ask for a troll that spawn in uor pants.?? Oh, wait, right.

Just like Norwegian trolls can smell Christians, it would be cool if trolls would spawn in the h&h wilds and have a detection radius depending on personal beliefs. A civilized hearthling might aggro the troll as soon as it enters the screen, while a barbaric hearthling could get quite close without getting attacked.

Re: Just saw troll hunter.
The real problem is not the "let's have trolls around."
The real problem is that this trolls will be without stamina. Without penalties, they'll have a sort of pathfinding that you don't have, they'll swim and run and swim and run like if they'll be robots and basically are like a giant deadly walking Error on the map.
We are used with custom clients but remember that standard client have a localized visual, No zoom, no x ray and before they could put ugly giant invincible beasts in this world they'll have to solve all this stuff that don't give a "difficulty" at the gamem, give just a "you can't do this because we dunno how to make it".
I love the Hunt (the real hunt in videogames with tracks, pathfinding of my chara, blood to follow, silence, dangerous, and then Attack!) And i like when i LOST 'cuz i wrong something. I often play games about hunt, fight or war, but usually those game give the win or the loss in you hand.
Usually in hh, if you lose, is 'cuz there is some weird bug, or lag, or your player is enough dump to stuck in something. I'll love a challenge, but not if the game is like it is now.
Afterall, after few weeks of "challenge", the trolls will be useless and easy to kill because we are forced to use exploit at every hunt, and then we'll have to ask for giant dragons.
I would bet the devs for more important things, before. Put a troll now, is like throw oil on a fire.
