Suggestion one - do first:

Rename Ender folder - DL client + update again - do a test run from that

Suggestion two:

Step a)
Try with (older) hotfix from Ender he made for 13.07.2011 version:

make a copy of Ender folder - then rem out updater.exe in run.bat - give it a try

If claim stuff works again - run from copied Ender folder to let updater work and look if claimbug gone...
