Animal level drop, wheat q drop

Ummm.... is there any reason why the animals in my quadrant should have all dropped from level V and IV to level one? I know hearth fires and new towns would do it, but I can't find the new towns or hearth fires and the change seems really widespread. I should at least be able to find some lvlII animals.

Also, this morning I went to my q-60+ wheat patch expecting not to be able to sort the higher seeds.... only to find that everything is coming out in the q40's, the seed level that I have been discarding for the last few days. I should be averaging about q65 if yesterday is anything to predict by, so this is rather odd.

What is your farming level, please just answer even if you think there's no need to.

That and they added perception in. Now you can only see Quality levels of your Per*2 which is really gheyyyy.

What is going on here is is that your farming is now in a different formula, farming now actually drops seed QL if you have it lower, and the +50 bonus is gone.

That's why its lowered.

Now if anyone can tell me why the animals are all lvlI....?

It's possible that someone set up a village idol somewhere nearby, that reduces animal levels significantly.

You know, I'm really tired of formulas changing without any announcement. I didn't know the old formula, and I don't know the new one - and I don't think we're testing the game very well, with the "feature" that things change unnannounced making planning ludicrous. In the eventual game, I presume that the same farmer, with the same tools and on the same land won't experience repeated precipitous drops on crop quality. That's not the game we're playing now. At least the nerfing of everything over q100 was announced. This one should have been - with the damn formulas.

I don't think you're testing the game anyways, just playing it. In fact, most people are just playing it and not actively looking for bugs, which would be testing.

I know I'm not.

Anyways I don't mind the changes since it actually makes more sense now.
