You have experienced Rabbit Harvest. It is the number one killer of rabbits of all ages and occurs every time a new server is made. Their bones used for saws and glue, their skin for water skins and sexual play toys, a more ignominious death there isn't.
Please, think of the rabbits. Next time you see a hearthling pick up our lapine brethren say "Would you want to be a gimp mask?"

Personally, hearing the sound of a rabbit's neck snapping makes me incredibly happy and excited. I'll spare these poor critters no such mercies if it means depriving myself of such joys.

I reserve the meaningless slaughter and waste of large swaths of animals for boars and, at times, deer. Chickens might lay me a golden egg after all.
