Thanks for this guide and for all of the helpful comments others have contributed to it. My husband, my son, and I recently started playing and this guide has been great for getting our little family going.

anyway you can message me when the beginings of a town segment is up?

Your guide really helped me by the way, it would be a lot better if haven and Hearth let's play's were being made though =/

Sevenless quit a while ago. You could ask any questions about villages here.

try searching in different areas. its hard as a new player to get your first, but once you learn thier habbits the little critters become a nuisance...

I started this thread when I was a noob and couldn't find a rabbit/chicken in my first 3 days, I caught over a dozen rabbits and who knows how many chickens first day of this world. its all about terrain types, if there isn't a moor or heath(yellow or purple ground where lots of animals spawn) close to where you started you may want to start somewhere else(no bones means you're not too far in).

If you are a new player this guide is about as essential as oxygen. Just want to say thanks for writing it.

If Sevenless were still around, he'd say "You're welcome", but he's not.

You should really read through the discussion, too, once you start getting comfortable with things to see various opinions on the way things can be done.
Opinions expressed in this statement are the authors alone and in no way reflect on the game development values of the actual developers.
