Cant pick up killed animals

i picked up a bunny before by right clicking it after i killed it, but now i cant pick my prey up anymore...why?

You can pick up vermin, but not larger animals like sheep/cow/fox/boar/bear.

For those you can "lift" and move around.

I've frequently found the hit box for a dead rabbit it a bit tricky, try around it's little bloody bunny nose

The problem lies with Z-ordering in hit detection; it doesn't work quite as it should at present, so it is likely that you're "hitting" the blood pool underneath the cadaver. Try clicking on the part of the cadaver that is outside the blood pool.

nope, clicked just about every pixel i could on and around the chicken corpse....couldnt pick it up.

@ loftar: It could also be because dead chickens can't be picked up yet. Just a thought.

Ah, I see; you were trying to pick up a chicken. That won't work, indeed. Chickens haven't been given real cadavers yet. They're a bit of a work in progress.
