seems that killing things also increases happiness. i killed like, 7 rats and got 23% happier

What's the effect of unhappiness? I'm not sure why I'm unhappy, but it seems to be getting worse. I first noticed it after I got very hungry, but I fixed that - into overstuffed and have kept myself fed since. I'm nonetheless 41% unhappy. I'm learning, trying new things, training skills - what makes a character happy? (I doubt I can kill anything, so I don't think that's a great idea...)

well if you were to light 50 fires in a row or chop down 5 trees or weave 20 baskets made from stick would you be happy???

rats,chickens, rabbit, they dont fight you just need to get the skills "will of power", and "physical combat" to be able to throw a punch. then your set.

also stuffing yourself with cooked foods does a good job but overeat and you'll have to go the slowest speed till you go back to normal

Killing stuff and hanging around either fires or claims seems to make you happy. I'm capable of getting to 28% happiness in certain spots of my town and I can't figure out what causes it, besides possibly the hearth fires or claims. Most physical work makes you unhappy. I think making food makes you happy as well.
