I liked the game. It's probably the best sandbox game. But u can't do anything if u started like 2 weeks after the start, cause u get owned by fags who don't sleep and eat, but play. Because of the people, this game is shit. U can't play this game for pleasure, it must be a job. If there were more restrictions and caps on skills i would give it a try, but now "wins the one who has no life, aka fagonerds and housewifes"

Actually, this game is designed exactly so you can catch up. Quality starts raising slower as you get higher, stats cost significantly more to get later on, it takes more FEPs to gain a point of anything. So yes, it's possible to catch up. You're just like the majority of people who play this who is now no doubt rage quitting because he died, and you've already made up your mind. So bye.

it's tough to see through all the butthurt, but the OP does bring up a valid point. yes quality and FEP do carry big time diminishing returns but none of that means much when we're talking about 300 UA vs 50. LP is still king of everything, and always has been. curiosities have done some to mitigate the botting or macros or whatever you crazy kids were doing, but even still it comes down to a direct proportion between online time and total LP.

I think curiosities revealed the superficiality and general suck of the skill values system -- it's just a dumb number -- and I think the game needs a way to reward time spent playing in a non-macroable way.
