What is the best client for Mac users?
Or perhaps I should ask, are there any?
Thanks!

If you're running anything below 10.6, as far as I know you're out of luck. With 10.6+, I believe there is a version of Ender's that should work. Try the Ender's thread (and possibly the 'Ender's for Macs' thread) in the Wizard's Tower subforum.
Edit for clarification regarding cobaltjones's comment below, Ender's client requires New and Shiny Java, which you can't install on Macs running anything below 10.6; it's not an OS specific issue, but rather an issue with the interaction between the OS and Java. To the best of my knowledge there are no OS X clients for whatever Java version I have, or I would be using one.

Enders works fine on a Mac (It's just java, not really OS specific), but the key is that you have to set it up correctly for OSX. Check out this post for some basic information.

Been trying to update it on my girlfriend's computer for months to no avail. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
A few of which are as follows though:
1. Change the commands in your run.bat to follow OSX format. It should look something like this:2. chmod 777 the entire contents of the extracted Haven directory (no idea if this actually matters or not but it's been suggested in the past. It will be one of the things I check when I do an actual writeup)Code: Select all
cd Documents cd Haven java -Xms256m -Xmx512m -jar haven.jar moltke.seatribe.se -r ./res
3. Switch your java version to 32bit. Do this by opening Applications>Utilities>Java Preferences and dragging the 32bit version first.
4. Install JOGL. This is the tricky one. You should just be able to copy the jogl files included with the Enders download as well as these (http://www.java2s.com/Code/Jar/j/Downlo ... saljar.htm) to your SYSTEM/LIBRARY/JAVA/EXTENSIONS folder.
If that's above your head then I'm sorry but that's all the further in detail I can go at the moment. Hopefully you'll be able to get it working.
