LP and Yeomanry

LP. How do I earn enough of them for Yeomanry (4000LP)?!
I only recieve LP after I do something new, then I have no way of recieving LP unless I choose a new skill which uses up precious LP.

Also, since you only get LP from discovery, and a little bit from curiousity (from early curios, dunno at later stages), how the fuck are you meant to save up 4000 LP?

Actually you get much more lp from curios than discovering new things. Grow little your exploration and you should be able to find better curios, get hunting and raid ant hills and hope there comes soldiers/queen/empress. There is many ways, I got just 18k from one curio. You just need to play some time and you'll see how easy it is.

Those little bits of lp you get for discovering new materials are just so you can buy the first few skills to get you started and make up about .001% of your total lp gain. At first the curio system may seem a bit flawed compared to a learn-by-doing system, but later on you get better and better curios and your lp gain skyrockets. Just raise your exploration to see the better curios and your survival so you don't cap them too hard.

Remember to move your personal belief slider towards peace, It will give you a nice learning ability boost. You should be able to change it every few hours or so.
