Server issues: New server

Oh, and to clarify. Boats don't disappear by themselves, they get taken. Also, if you don't have the swimming skill, and someone does take your boat, you'll just be standing immobile on the water. At least, thats whats happened to me. Ok, ok boats and other objects degrade over time and CAN disappear by themselves, but that's not likely to be the case here. Had to double clarify for all the technicality nazis out there.

Hmm, I just hope that when Iog in, I can start playing from my hearth, I couldn't care less about the boat, was a throw-away. Just don't want to have to start over again.

Anyone have any ideas on an approximate time that the server will be back up? Want to know how much time I have until I learn my fate.

You'll probably be ok man, it has happened to most of us from time to time. No guarantees of course. Might be best to hit land and hearthjump when you have a chance, though. No point in trusting the server to stay up once it comes back.

The current world isn't even a few months old. What will happen is that you either spawn back in your boat as long as it is in the exact same spot as the one it logged you out in. Sometimes that doesn't work and you have to spawn back at your hf. If someone moves your boat you will log back in on the water in Jesus mode and can either hearth back or swim to the shore.

Heh. Well, I wasn't exactly sure how long I had been playing that character, but I do imagine it's been at least a month. I'm very glad to hear this though, it brings great comfort to know that I may still live . I don't mind spawning at my hf, nor do I mind losing my boat. I imagine there's noone to move my boat as the server is down, and the area I was in was fairly uninhabited.

Someone please tell me why the server always crashes at the most inopportune moments ie: when I'm raiding ants and come back knocked out, walking out my front gate, or what-have you. It's a good thing I love this game otherwise I might get really frustrated.

Edit: I suppose this is a good time to stop being lazy and do some dishes. I'm sorta freaked out because I was standing in an open gate when I left.

Phi i was in the middle of a raid, 2 peoples down and i had aggro with one more. Now when iam login back what will happen? We will be still fighting? I put some ql40 leeches on those lying nabs so i will lost them?

Using keys...that sounds like ur first problem.
