Not sure how much help this will be, But I have noticed alot of people make a separate village just for trading to keep your village safe.

Well, it's one of two possible options. The other is to wall in your village idol with enough area so that a trader can port in and goods can be exchanged. Which you choose depends on a few things. Since you don't want to put a crossroad there to get past the gate, anyone needing to port into the village that doesn't have a hearth fire there will need to have someone there to unlock the gate (or have access to the key alt). That can be a bit tiresome if some of your village isn't allowed access to the gatekeeper.Cjfidler wrote:Not sure how much help this will be, But I have noticed alot of people make a separate village just for trading to keep your village safe.
