Post by Iava »

Well after playing this game a couple months ago i decided to come back on and see if i could remake my base because it got destroyed last time i played, Partly the reason i left but i decided to come back and well i got a Pop-up where the log-in screen is meant to be it said:

Haven error! [ X ]
An error has occurred!
The error has been reported.
[ Close ] [ Details >>> ]

After looking for a possible way to fix taking me a couple of hours i still haven't found a way to do it, Please help :(

We can't help if you don't give us more information about the error. Either make a screen capture of the error box, or, preferably, copy-paste the error text into a forum post. Before you close the error window, click details, and that will give you a bunch of text. The tech-savvy around here can then use that to get some sort of clue as to what you might be able to do to solve it.

Otherwise, you can just try clearing the cache in Java as a corrupt download will cause a Java app to close immediately.

You're missing one of the libraries needed to run Haven & Hearth or Java is unable to find it where it's needed.

The easy solution (and best overall) is to get one of the third party clients. Ender's is the most up-to-date and is frequently maintained. If you can't get that to work, or insist on using the original client, you can clear the game off and try downloading again. If that doesn't work, it can be solved, but the solution will take a little work on your part.

Ender's client thread: viewtopic.php?f=27&t=14575

After downloading and unzipping the main client, make sure to download the update file and unzip that into the same place you put the main download. (Overwrite files when prompted.)
