Also remember the further your slider is towards nature, the faster the sprout on the table. You need to watch them for the sprout and as someone said, plant them within 8 hours. Also, just in case you don't know (being that you are having a hard time sprouting them) when you plant a tree, make sure it is 2 squares away in all directions from all objects that you cannot walk through (ex: rocks, tables, walls). If it is too close to another object it will not mature.
