How can I get into global chat now?

There is no global chat anymore.

Why? Is there any chat outside of the game where a lot of HnH players come?

Nothing as populated, or busy, as the old global chat. There is, however, the Haven IRC channel.

Also, loftar has said he's generally against the "global" feel of the game, and it's one of the reason for why you don't get any absolute co-ords and such. That people co-ordinate such things outside of the game can't be stopped though.

New version available through updater and update archives at MediaFire and taggedup.
I've added key combination to mute chat (ALT-C). This should provide at least some defence against spam-bots. Not sure how much of improvement it would make, though. Need some real testing.
