I'm sorry, I don't mean to insult anyone here but the map is aweful, It looks like someone sneezed on a handkerchief then for the "ocean" they overlapped some curves and filled them in on microsoft paint.

Smallscale, the map is interesting, I like the resource areas, but the whole thing looks like a rorschak test. Now, I understand this is very early in the game, but is there any plans for continents and a "circular" world?

You need to keep in mind that the map -is- computer-generated, not hand-made. As such, oddities such as that tend to happen.

I suspect that something more sophisticated is planned, though I don't know what.
