What will prevent Painhertz from laughing though? Will his voice box be removed by a prowler during the night while he is asleep in bed? Or perhaps the shadows will convince his shadow to join them in their cause, and his shadow will steal his laughter and they will all overtake him!!

found the juxtaposition between the light in pain's laughter
and the dark in the realization to be too cute to pass up
