.thing is I get the same problem as the guy above me (xpuma20x) .. he said he fixed it by returning to a previous version of the driver ....which driver would that be.?? java??.. just to point out I downloaded the client for 32 (have a 32bit vista) got the updater... edited this to the .bat file

Code: Select all

.\updater\HnH_updater.exe
"C:\Program Files\Java\jre6\bin\JAVA.EXE" -Xms256m -Xmx512m -jar haven.jar moltke.seatribe.se

and I get to the select char screen. i click play and its the last thing it'll let me do .. where you logged off .by your hearth fire - do nothing in fact they make the client freeze, create new character freezes also...

what to do

I rolled back my video card driver. If you are on Windows 7, do the following:

1) Start
2) Control Panel
3) Hardware and Sound
4) Under Devices and Printers, select Device Manager
5) Display adapters (click the small arrow to the left of the words)
6) Right click the video card name
7) Properties
8) Driver Tab
9) Rollback driver
And then I says, "Tell me I'm wrong!" And she says, "I can't baby, cause you're not!"

Just dropping a (still mystifying) error that cropped up, and that kept lingering around, on one of my characters. (only tested on one (Ender-)client. Ergo: not sure if error had any direct relation to current client settings/setup/etc.)

- The top (terminal) error part (before closing client) was consistently triggered by opening the skills screen. (character stats screen 3)
- The bottom error part (after closing client) was also consistently triggered, even if the opening of the skills screen part was skipped.

- Unclear what triggered it. (last know action on this character was grinding wheat seeds to flower.)
- Also uncleared what cleared it up again. Other than time and a involuntary computer restart. (power outage while playing around with it (CLick-Bzzssss  ), and it was gone when I got back to it hours later.)
-- Clearing + deleting belt file(s) did at least nothing to change anything.

I didn't "advise" them to do it, they asked which driver I rolled back, I told them which and how I did it.
And then I says, "Tell me I'm wrong!" And she says, "I can't baby, cause you're not!"

Both errors are same - wrong resource version. It looks like some server problem, try to load default client. Similar errors appeared before, but usually with other resources. Though if I'm not mistaken, hunting had this problem too.

I think that in this case the error would have stopped/gone the moment I would have done a default client log-on with that character. Could not test that in this case, but in similar cases (also hunter-resource type errors, but not identical error logs.) that was the general behavior.
(I'm having the feeling some data corruption (no res/cache file corruption, well ...) might be playing a role here. But that's just a feeling / wild guess.)

Hello,

I'm sorry, I didn't read everything in this topic, but this morning I noticed problems with the client. I'm running it + logging (on the home page where we can select the character) without any problem, but when I click on my character the screen is just frozen.
I tried the default client and it's working.

Is there a problem with the ender client ? Is there an updating or do I have to do it myself?

Thank you and sorry if it's not the first time that someone asks you this ^^'
