Problem with building

I've gotten the skills that should allow me to build a log cabin and I've paved the ground but I'm unable to build the cabin. Am I doing something wrong? I don't understand. What do I need to do to be able to build a log cabin? Does the land need to be claimed?

Probably boards because I have everything else. It sucks though because I haven't seen any rabbits at all which severly limits my hunting and fishing capabilities as well as my crafting capabilities because I can't make a bone saw.

Are you using one of the custom clients? These will let you hide the trees so you can see things hiding behind them. Rabbits and chickens are fairly common. You just have to wander a while at times.

I don't know if I'm just an idiot or what but I can't even figure out how to run the ender client. Where does the hnh)ender)gui_skin stuff go?

Simple method: download client. unzip to folder. download update(s). unzip to same folder and overwrite existing files. double click run.bat.

If you want to add some of the player mods later, you'll need to see those mods about where you need to place them.
