Re: outdoor cupboards
I would imagine placing them in your claim on pavement is your best bet, unless there's some trick to it that's not public knowledge.

I'm not sure if just the claim protects it, but I'd assume it would be like houses. Always best to have pavement under them just in case.

Re: outdoor cupboards
Absolutely nothing stops decay ticks. Since a cupboard only has one hp, it's just a matter of random luck. One could potentially exist outside for weeks without blowing up, but then you could build one and it blows up 30 minutes later. If you want to keep some outside, store them in a cart or boat.

Ever think those are freshly built just for the feast and they'll start blowing up in short order? Like I said, decay ticks are random. Feel free to test it and prove it wrong, though.hazzor wrote: so how do people do this? D:

If everything is set right with good high quality materials, you can drop down to as low as a 10% hunger hunger mod at feasts. You can get down to 20% or lower with just a good table setting (gold and silver not needed).

Re: outdoor cupboards
Just put cupboards in carts or a wagon to stop them from poofing when they're not in use.
As for rotation, it simply depends on the direction from which you place them.
